Mozart‘s Schoenbrunn
During the course of his remarkable career, Mozart never failed to come back to the place where it had all started:
Schoenbrunn. At the early age of six, he took his first steps towards an international career by performing for Empress
Maria Theresia in Schoenbrunn. Years later, he had his musical duel with his eternal rival Salieri at Schoenbrunn
Palace Orangery. Some of his works had their world premiere here at the Orangery.

Palace tour
Start your journey with a visit of the ceremonial rooms of world-famous Schoenbrunn Palace, the most popular
sightseeing spot in Austria. Individual guests will receive an audioguide and may take the palace tour anytime during
the palace‘s official opening hours. Since there is no need for making an appointment, you are free to visit the palace
at any day or time or your choice while in Vienna. Groups of 10 and up will enjoy an exclusive guided tour given by
one of the palace‘s guides, after the palace has closed for the public and quieted down. Mozart would have been
delighted...

Dinner
Mozart would have loved it. The palace tour is followed by dinner at „Residenz“ restaurant. You will enjoy dishes that
are typical of Mozart‘s time.

Concert
Don‘t be surprised to feel Mozart‘s spirit during the concert. Mozart performed at the Orangery on several occasions.
The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra will interpret the most beautiful works created by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and
Johann Strauss. This captivating music is accompanied by masterful vocalists and ballet dancers. Let this
unsurpassed musical harmony cast its spell on you...

Concert hall
On selected days, concerts may take place in the Great Gallery or the White Gold Room located inside
Schoenbrunn Palace, at the Schoenbrunn Palace Theater or in other concert halls in Vienna. We will be happy to
send you the detailed concert plan upon request.

Schoenbrunn Palace opening hours:
April to June and September to October: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
July and August: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
November to March: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
During the winter, we recommend that individual guests start the audioguide palace tour at 4:00 p.m. at the latest.

Document pick-up:
Individual guests can pick up their documents at our office located at the Orangery. We are open daily from 9:00 a.m.

As a complimentary extra
this package also includes two one-way tickets for easy and convenient public transport in Vienna. Each ticket is valid
for one journey in Vienna in one direction including all transfers.

Rendezvous with Mozart
Have an evening of royal pleasures just like the royalty in times long past: start by walking through the sumptuous
palace and enjoy a grand finale at Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery, embarking on a musical journey with the
Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra. Following your tour of the palace‘s ceremonial rooms, the Schoenbrunn Palace
Orchestra will take you on a journey to the world of Mozart and Strauss, accompanied by singing and dance -
performed exclusively for you at Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery.
Start your program by visiting the ceremonial rooms of world-famous Schoenbrunn Palace, Austria‘s most frequented
sightseeing spot - either accompanied by an audioguide or with a personal guide.
Upon arriving at the Orangery, every guest will be served an aperitif. Every guest will furthermore receive a program
for the concert, including numerous illustrations, pictures and information about the Orangery, Schoenbrunn Palace,
the orchestra and the soloists. To round thing off, the welcome package includes a „Best of Mozart CD“, performed by
the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra.
In order for you to enjoy the wonderful selection of classical music - the most beautiful melodies, opera and operetta
arias by Mozart and Strauss - to the maximum, we have reserved seats in the two front rows. During the intermission,
join us for a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a typical Austrian sweet - Mozart Ball - at the bar.

6:30 p.m. Dinner at Café-Restaurant Residenz
8:00 p.m. Admission into Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery

*Please note the palace‘s closing time!

After the concert, taxis will be available right outside Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. The subway runs until midnight in
five to eight-minute intervals.
