Empress for a day: experience imperial Vienna through the eyes of the legendary Empress Elizabeth. The royal
ambience of imperial Vienna will follow you everywhere you go. You will visit magnificent buildings and museums,
indulge in culinary delights and will then honor the evening concert at the Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery with your
presence. Royal delight is guaranteed.
During the day, you will take a stroll through the former property of the Habsburg dynasty: Schoenbrunn Palace, the
summer residence of Sisi and Francis Joseph, the Imperial Furniture Collection, where splendid furniture of Sisi‘s era
is on display, as well as the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) which houses the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum and
the Imperial Silver Collection. All this activity notwithstanding, there is no need for you to lose your royal
composure, because you have the choice of visiting these attractions whenever you please – up to one year after the
date of issue. After having explored the royal residences, dinner will be served at Café-Restaurant Residenz, adjacent
to Schoenbrunn Palace. Your table will be ready for you at the former palace kitchen, which is now a wonderful
restaurant with a great ambiance. Dinner is a delectable three-course menu. As a grand finale, you will attend a
concert at Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery: the very best seats have been reserved for you to enjoy the concert by the
Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna. Leaf through the complimentary program containing interesting information
about the orchestra and its repertoire and join us at the bar during the intermission for a glass of sparkling wine. As a
very special gift, you will receive a Port-Ami for you to take home. Even Sisi would certainly have made good use of
this highly practical purse hook...
While Sisi took bumpy carriage rides to get around, Sisi devotees today travel much more comfortably: the package
includes two tickets for public transport per person.

Schoenbrunn Palace
Schoenbrunn Palace is the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. It was especially Francis Joseph who
had a pronounced liking for this palace. Sisi, who was highly body conscious and athletic, spent long hours in the
surrounding gardens riding her horses. Your audioguide visit will take you to the official and private chambers of the
palace, where you will discover, among others, the Empress‘s grooming room and the Spartan bedroom of Francis
Joseph.

Imperial Palace: Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum and Imperial Silver Collection
The Vienna Imperial Palace (Hofburg) used to be the residence of the Habsburg dynasty for over 600 years. Visit
the ceremonial rooms and residential apartments used by Emperor Francis Joseph and his beloved wife Sisi to gain
insight into what life was like at the Vienna Court. Follow the traces of mysterious Empress at the Sisi Museum.
Numerous exhibits on display will guide you through the many aspects of Sisi‘s fascinating personality. Explore her
rebellious side, her beauty-conscious side and her poetic side. The package also includes admission to the
Imperial Silver Collection, where you will marvel at an impressive collection of valuable dinner services from the
imperial household. Find your own and very personal approach to this extravagant Empress.

Imperial Furniture Collection
The Imperial Furniture Collection in Vienna is the world‘s largest furniture collection. It provides detailed insight into
the Habsburg dynasty‘s royal lifestyle. The collection includes 160,000 objects, ranging from a baby‘s cradle to an
Emperor‘s throne. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the „Sissi movies“ and the furniture used in these movies,
which was mostly borrowed from the Imperial Furniture Collection.

Dinner

Café-Restaurant Residenz is located in the so-called Ehrenhof („Court of Honor“), adjacent to the palace‘s main
entrance. An elegant three-course candlelight dinner awaits you. In summer, dinner will be served in the cozy outside
dining area.

Concert
Your day is rounded off by a wonderful concert at Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. This historic baroque hall, which,
being a part of Schoenbrunn Palace, has been declared a UNESCO world heritage, was highly appreciated by the
Habsburg royalty, who used it for lavish parties. This is where the renowned Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna
will present the most famous works written by W.A. Mozart and Johann Strauss, the „King of Waltz“. This enchanting
music will be accompanied by the performance of vocalists and ballet dancers that will delight your eyes and ears
alike.

Concert hall
On selected days, concerts may take place in the Great Gallery or the White Gold Room located inside Schoenbrunn
Palace, at the Schoenbrunn Palace Theater or at other concert halls in Vienna. We will be happy to send you the
detailed concert plan upon request.

Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum and Royal Silver Collection opening hours:
Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., July and August open until 6:00 p.m.
We recommend that you start your visit at 3:00 p.m. at the latest.
Imperial Furniture Collection opening hours
Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Schoenbrunn Palace opening hours
April to June and September to October: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
July and August: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
November to March: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Program:
Individual guests are requested to pick up their vouchers at our office located at the Orangery. We are open daily from
9:00 a.m.

Groups will receive their vouchers right before the start of the guided tour at the main entrance/ticket counter of
Schoenbrunn Palace from one of our staff members.
As a complimentary extra, this package also includes two one-way tickets for easy and convenient public transport in
Vienna. Each ticket is valid for one journey in Vienna in one direction, including all transfers.

After the concert, taxis will be available right outside Schoenbrunn Palace Orangery. The subway runs until midnight in
